Communities for Future is a new, integrated Europe-wide programme to inspire, empower and enable local community-led responses to the climate and ecological emergency.  The launch of Communities for Future will explore the potential of communities to revive local economies as we emerge from the pandemic in a way that takes account of the deepening climate and ecological crises and the urgent need for deeper societal transformation.   If you would like to be an inspirational voice during the launch. Join us to hear the experiences of Emma Whitham who founded MOO Food - Muir of Ord Food is a highly successful community food venture in Muir of Ord. Emma will share the story of how it started, the difficulties and successes and answer our questions on starting community food growing ventures.  Emma is also currently managing The Highland Good Food Conversation, an initiative by Transition Black Isle to build our knowledge of food growing, food businesses, and build food resilience in the Highlands.
